Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** The Software Developer creates high-level applications for the System. This includes design, implementation, and testing of applications. Provides advanced technical expertise and product knowledge to ensure successful implementation and help. Offers full leadership in project implementations. Works with users to support business applications and specifications. **_The pay range for this position is $31.73/hour (entry level qualifications) - $54.90/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience._** **Essential Functions of the Role** + Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, database designs, and performs maintenance to ensure system compatibility. + Ensures appropriate integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment. + Explains and assists in the development of personnel, encouraging cross-training efforts to build team technical skill sets. + Establishes technical standards and guidelines for effective programming. + Verifies that user manuals are kept current. + Maintains skilled knowledge of current technology. + Works closely with Development and Support teams to deliver high quality solutions. + Design new software applications. + Composes technical documentation for development and help processes. + Meets with customers and works with the Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plan, and release documentation. **Key Success Factors** + Demonstrated knowledge and usage of object oriented design methods. + Proven team oriented developer with demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions on time. + Prior participation in an entire product development life cycle. + Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies. + SQLServer 2000/2005/2008, SQL and T-SQL comprehension. + Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008 development. + Experience developing windows forms and windows services solutions. + Excellent written and verbal skills. + MSF Agile or CMMI process. **Belonging Statement** We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. **QUALIFICATIONS** + EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification + EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
